OK. Thanks mate, take your time, I'm sure I echo everyone's thoughts that a well polished mod will be worth the wait. If you or anyone know of a temporary fix for slowing down naval battles in the meantime please let us know. In the meantime I'll just auto-resolve those battles. And lotsa good tide over mods out there till then.

For the moment not. Maybe you can fix it by leaving it as vanilla (the values)? But as you can see, i added a lot of wooden sail ships, so i don't know if vanilla can slow down the battle time. It's pretty raw. There is a bunch of work that i need to do for the navy. After when i finished the tier 1 land units and custom battle maps, i start focusing only on the tier 1 navies.

Fantastic! I was waiting for this! Thank you so much for keeping this old game of mine so fun to play even after the original devs at SEGA completely forgot it! However, I can't seem to recruit units with the Satcho alliance. Is this also a work in progress?

Yes it is a work in progress. Normally for custom battles you can recruit units for the Satcho Alliance. But not for campaign yet.
